BriefingAfrica is being built to collect only the information necessary to operate, secure and improve the publication.
Reader data
Before public launch, the final privacy notice will identify the analytics, advertising, newsletter and account providers actually in use. We will not publish a fictional list of vendors before those systems are configured.
Operational data
Security logs and service diagnostics may be retained to protect the platform and investigate abuse. Retention periods should be proportionate to the operational purpose.
Changes
This notice will be expanded before launch to reflect the production hosting location, lawful bases, cookies, processors and reader rights relevant to the final deployment.
