In response to escalating flooding issues, the Taraba State Environmental and Sanitation Agency (TSESA) has initiated a comprehensive drainage opening campaign across all 16 Local Government Areas. This proactive measure aims to mitigate the impact of seasonal rains that have increasingly overwhelmed the state’s drainage systems, exacerbating health and environmental challenges.
The TSESA's efforts come amid growing concerns over the effects of climate change and urbanization, which have contributed to inadequate drainage facilities.
