The Ogun State Water Corporation (OGSWC) has attributed the ongoing water disruption in Abeokuta to extensive road projects rather than failures in the Ogun Urban Water Supply Project, funded by the French Development Agency. OGSWC's managing director, Adebayo Kuku, emphasized, "The road construction has caused temporary disruptions to our main supply lines, but we are actively working to minimize impacts on the community."
