The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) is poised to capitalize on Nigeria’s burgeoning leisure market by hosting its Executive Council Retreat at Ghana's Safari Valley. This strategic move comes amid increasing interest in regional tourism and the need for collaboration among travel agencies to harness the potential of the African leisure sector.

NANTA has been actively seeking ways to enhance travel experiences and diversify offerings for Nigerian tourists. With the leisure market in Nigeria projected to grow, the association seeks to strengthen partnerships that can enrich travel opportunities both domestically and within the West African region. “Our retreat will focus on innovative strategies to expand our reach and improve service delivery in the leisure sector,” stated Susan Akintola, NANTA's President.

As NANTA embarks on this initiative, the focus on Safari Valley underscores not only a commitment to regional tourism but also a recognition of the interconnectedness of the West African market. The outcomes of this retreat could pave the way for new partnerships, ultimately transforming leisure travel in Nigeria and positioning it as a key player in the African tourism landscape.
